KLEEMANN Traction Elevator in Apartment Building in Korydallos

Existing three-floor building constructed in 1970.

The building had an elevator shaft, but no machine room, and there was no available common space.

For this reason, the machine-room-less (MRL) solution was proposed — a KLEEMANN traction elevator that does not require a separate machine room, as the machinery is installed inside the shaft itself. This allowed for a modern, efficient installation that fully meets current safety standards, with minimal intervention to the building structure.
